The direct mail campaign consisted of several elements. They all fit into a C5 envelope with a window. One interesting feature of this project is the cress seeds included as a little gift. You can feel and hear them when you shake the envelope. As they appeal to two senses, they provide a double incentive to open the mail.

Postcards are one of the simplest, quickest and cheapest ways to communicate with donors. This form of mail does not require the recipient to open an envelope or unpack anything. The recipient can see the message immediately upon receiving the postcard. Producing postcards does not require a large financial outlay, compared to more elaborate forms of mail.

The mailing consisted of a letter and a leaflet, which managed to pack in a considerable amount of content. An additional element was a bookmark, which we made from paper produced from elephant dung, ordered from the Museum of Papermaking in Duszniki Zdrój.
